She holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Limestone University in the USA and a postgraduate degree in Instructional Design and Technology (M.Ed.) from Arizona State University, also in the USA. She also holds a Cambridge Certificate in the Teaching of English to Speakers of Other Languages ​​(CELTA). She has developed her teaching career at institutions abroad in China, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Iraq, Thailand, Myanmar, and now Mexico. She held positions at the world's largest women's university, Princess Noura University, the American University of Kurdistan, the American University of Iraq, and several other institutions. In Oaxaca, she began her teaching career at the University of the Isthmus in Ixtepec. She currently works as a Professor-Researcher at the Technological University of La Mixteca (UTM), where she teaches Level 2 English courses. Her experience focuses on training educators abroad to obtain certifications, curriculum design, basic English instruction, and English for Specific Purposes instruction.
