Melissa Ferrin is a foreign language teacher and learner with nearly 30 years of teaching experience. She has a bachelor's degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies, a postgraduate diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, a postgraduate diploma in the Administration of Foreign Language Learning Programs, and a strong interest in Continuous Professional Development. She is active in the Asociación Mexicana de Maestros de Inglés MEXTESOL, AC, where she has served as Oaxaca Chapter Vice President, Oaxaca Chapter President, member of the Communications Committee, Academic Reader on the Conference Organization Committee and Parlementarian of the National Governing Board of the Association.
